I See Green In a Bottle

Another load of pears brought in last night also brought in my own little baby. During the spring, if you remember, I located the perfect tiny pear and fastened a bottle over it so it would grow inside. So when my mom came in with the bottle in her hands, I was so happy to see it had grown so big inside. Not as big as its free-growing cousin in the last picture, but pretty big regardless. So we put soap in the bottle, added some water, and shook it up to clean all of the algae and dirt out.

Its fate now is up to me, as there are many, many things to do with a pear grown inside a bottle!
