Something in the logs burned the brightest aqua green last night. We all sat and studied the fire in amusement and awe as the tongues of flame licked madly at the night sky in a steady shade of Oz, adding a St. Patty's flare to a fall bonfire. It was a pleasant surprise, and I could not head inside with the rest of the family without photographing the rare moment. I knew the chances of me seeing a fire blazing green again were slim for my entire life, so I took easily about fifty shots of attempts to get a clear picture of this dazzling green fire.
It's been the first night since goodness knows when that I've been able to sit around a fire with my family and not be eaten alive by mosquitoes. I should very much have liked to do the same tonight, for it is such a cool-warm (if that even makes any sense) night, but they are no doubt out like the little vampires they are, just waiting for all six of us to plop down like a midnight buffet. Not happening, mosquitoes! -shakes fist-
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It has been some time since I've been able to post, but trust me, I have been thinking about my dear blog for the past few weeks as I rush about learning to give perms....Which, by the way, is going very well and I really love to do it, even though it's highly technical, time consuming, and even strenuous at times. But that is why I like it -- it's a challenge, all four styles of perms I have learned!
Have a wonderful week! ♥
P.S. I'm tired, and have not checked this post for typos. -snicker-giggle-
